The house has plenty of parking for multiple cars, as there is a circular driveway closest to the main road, as well as a drop down driveway that brings you right up to the front door.
Arriving by car will allow you to explore and enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
Everything is accessible within a short drive. 4WD not necessary :)

great place very peaceful Spent two nights and it was perfect for 4 of us. Beds and couch were comfortable. Outdoor view was beautiful of the mountains and although, the “lake”, was more like a pond. It was pretty too. <br/>Enjoyed the sounds of birds, frogs, and crickets. Spotted a few deer. <br/>We took advantage of Shenandoah Outfitters, 5 min away, and went tubing for about 3 hours. <br/>Only negatives was the propane fire wouldn’t light and we didn’t have a lighter, we improvised though! Kitchen could have been wiped better. Fingerprints on microwave, fridge not wiped out, and coffee maker not wiped. Pet hair on rug. Lastly, the hot tub had a little bit of an odd odor and we had to skim it when we first got in. Plus it had a little slimy residue on the seats and plastic. There was chlorine tablets in floater, but overall the hot tub didn’t seem clean. This was also, despite us rinsing/showering prior to entering. <br/>Overall though, it was a wonderful space and place to stay. The cabin and property were beautiful. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and loved the view and being able to fish right on the land. Unfortunately, around day three of our week-long stay, we started noticing bites that resemble bed bug bites. We didn’t have any issues before arriving, and the bites kept appearing. (Bed bug bites do not show up immediately, it takes a couple days after being bit) We let one of the hosts know, but she said they didn’t see anything at the property. Just something to be aware of, if it is bed bugs, they usually hide in mattresses or furniture and aren’t always visible. Hopefully it gets looked into for future guests. Other than that it was very peaceful! G

If you want to escape civilization, and surround yourself with nature, stay in Lazy Lake.
Positive: We like how spacious the cabin was. Additionally, the surroundings were incredibly peaceful and offered a stunning view of the mountains. It had everything like in the house. We did a little bit of cooking and grilling, and we found all the necessary parts and tools. It was so relaxing to wake up to the birds sound, and the view of the sunrise.
Negative: We have no complaints.
